They maintained the standard.

The terrace is magnificent and is shaded by a series of huge chestnut trees! The layout is typically beer garden with bench and chairs and it has this great vibe! First things first we get served a round of ice cold Augustiners! Things are looking very good. Staff is charming, efficiency is amazing, beautiful terrace! We ended up coming every night.

The waiters are always very diligent and polite without ceasing! The armchairs are extremely comfortable and I think the distance between the seats is extremely appropriate. There you don't get the feeling in the back and front like eating sardines in a can. I can only recommend this place! My friend and I were there too together and each of us ate something different, I for one can say I did tasted a bit of each and it was all good.

Food itself good but unfortunately not a vegan option other than fries. Beer was good, so was service.

We were there for a family reunion and it exceeded our expectations. All 4 courses were delicious and the service and organization were great. All of our guests are looking forward to the next family celebration in the Garbe.

Here the 5 stars are absolutely appropriate. A beer garden as it has to be. You sit nicely under chestnuts and are very well served by many friendly students. In addition, Swabian cuisine at its best. Inside you can also sit very comfortably. Absolute recommendation!

Everything okay. The last kick was missing and you really notice the finished ingredients. The service could smile. The guests come because of the great beer garden.

The food tastes quite good, but could be much more sophisticated. Especially with the prices. But the location is beautiful and many Instagram posts land here every day. The service is very friendly.

05.09.2020: Nice beer garden. The food had hardly been ordered when the salad with chicken breast was already on the table. It was our two main courses. Our fellow visitors were there without food. The third meal, a dinner, came 5 minutes later. The 4th meal, a schnitzel with a side dish, had to be requested from the waitress 20 to 25 minutes after the 3rd meal, where it stayed. Then it didn't take a minute and it was on the table. What happens ???? It might be that uncoordinated. in a self-service beer garden. But not in one with service and prices for the salads I think it was 16 euros! When it comes to eating, expectations and reality are far apart. Price-performance I would give 3 Google €€€. For a beer garden in Bavaria in Andechs the prices would be ok. But not for Plieningen at the roundabout ...... The hygiene concept was great. Praise for that. The food was tasty too. The dinner was large and plentiful. Schnitzel was ok they said. But price performance is at least questionable with the salad. Because within 2 min. Having 2 salads on the table indicates that the salad is not freshly prepared. My salad was "sloppy" but I liked it. But not my wife. Fresh looks different. Can i recommend it? Limited. Not really for eating. Earlier for drinking.

Incredibly delicious food and friendly and courteous service at all times. A very clear tip at any time of the day. The also available rooms are a dream, clean and lovingly furnished.

The Wirtshaus zur Garbe offers everything a modern pub has to offer and good cuisine. The homemade Dinnete from the wood stove are a specialty there, but other Swabian dishes are also convincing. The beer garden is also ideal for small meals or just a beer. All in all cozy. The prices are typical of Stuttgart and a little higher than you would find in the Swabian region.

Nice rooms, great beer garden with good food and drinks. Spent a whole week there and ate. Although there were only 3 guests in the hotel, we had a small breakfast buffet every morning. Can absolutely recommend the word house Garbe in every respect. I would love to come back.

Great place, the food was delicious and the service was fantastic

Food went like that. The meat was good, but definitely overpriced for the price - at least homemade “spaetzle” would have been part of it. The service staff stood in their own way, no one was responsible and finally on request - although we were reserved, we got the menu. This was also better balanced in the previous years. The promised bread for our little one to "nibble" on was forgotten even after being noticed, what a shame - would have been a nice thing. Unfortunately no longer the quality and service as it was 1 ½ years ago and therefore easy for the price NOT (anymore) recommended! New owner and the money will be withdrawn. This can also be seen in the owner's vehicle parked directly in front of the entrance ... you know exactly where the money is going. The gastronomy, built with passion, with specially made cream cheese and fresh bread, seems to have fallen victim to the greed for profit. Ambience is great, but the content just doesn't fit anymore!

In and of itself a nice beer garden, but the price-performance ratio is not at all appropriate. The food was not bad but also not a culinary delight, although I expect that if I have to pay 25 € for a roast beef. The food was really disappointing. The corona rules are implemented well by the staff here.

Great atmosphere, despite the full hut, friendly and efficient service. Most of the places are shaded by the large trees. The food offer Typical meals on a small menu for a beer garden. P / L The salads are manageable, the dinette is also enough for 2. Priced within the framework. French fries were fresh and crispy. You can get a seat here even without a reservation. Gladly again.

Fantastic outdoor Biergarten. Great for lunch and dinner. Had the breaded schnitzel with cucumber potato salad, and it was delicious.

The beer garden is great and nice and shady. The dishes are very tasty. It's not cheap, but the quality is absolutely right. The food is very tasty and the service friendly gerne always happy.

I can recommend the yarn to everyone. Very good service, very good food only some dishes are simply too expensive. I would like to emphasize that despite Corona a very good level is offered here. The beer garden at the roundabout is not particularly quiet, but it is simply brilliant at the present time.

Traditional German restaurant, rustical style mixed with modern parts. Great food, service, really busy and close to the university.

Cannot go wrong with the good food here and the costs are fair. Waitress catered to my every needs, would definitely highly recommend. Good service from enjoyable staff, were seated rather quickly. Sister and I stopped here during a shopping trip, splendid food and quick service. We came here for our anniversary and cherished the atmosphere and great food, cannot suggest it enough.

If this place was a little cheaper it'd be five star. Never been disappointed on anything on the menu. Very delicious.. Might need a reservation though.. It gets crowded.

Very cosy and convivial, attentive staff (even though we were at a table away in a corner), an imaginative take on Swabian dishes, and - not least - great food.

Really wonderful food and service. Do make reservations unless you visit when the beer garden is open. Flammkuchen is really delicious in many different flavors. There's an interesting Parma ham slicer they use for their special flammkuchen recipe, nice demonstration and lovely shaved ham. Parking is tough you may have to walk a bit.

I can see why this restaurant is booked out everyday ! The service was excellent, very friendly staff whom knew the food and were able to give some great recommendations. The food itself was amazing, I was looking for a place to try some traditional local food and this is the place. Highly recommended and make sure you book in advance.

Radlers here are best.

Excellent food

What a great place to relax and enjoy a great meal. We went this past Sunday, and I had the Maultaschen with potato salad a long with a beer. Loved it! My wife had the Käsespätzle, and she commented how much better it is here rather than further north where we now live. Such a relaxing place with great service, and a wonderful atmosphere in the beer garden.

This is a great Biergarden, great atmosphere outside in the summer, food was also good but please clean your glasses better.
